Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. When it comes to our NIMH batteries, they do not have a shelf life, however, the longer they sit they will deplete their charge, however the newer ones we have on the market will hold their charge for up to one year when not being used. The Power Plus and the Universal are the newer batteries on the market.

Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. When it comes to our NIHM rechargeable batteries, the NH and HR6 are the same battery. NH is the beginning of the model number (NH15=AA battery) and HR6 is just a IEC number (International Electrotechnical Commission) all of our rechargeable batteries have a HR6 on them. The 2300mah battery is the latest battery we have on the market, it is new and improved by offering you a lower self discharge rate, meaning, once it is fully charged it will hold its charge for one year.

Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. If you are noticing a flashing light on your charger there could be many things. Please see if the following apply.

Charging different MAH numbers in charger
Charging different brands at the same time
Charging NICD batteries vs. NIMH
Old batteries (over two years old)
Dirty contacts (easy clean, take pencil eraser to contacts in charger, top and bottom)

If you still have issues with the flashing light please contact our consumer affairs for further assistance.

Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. When it comes to our NIMH rechargeable batteries, we do not have an expiration date on them. They do have a "Date of Manufacture" on them; it may be possible to charge these batteries up to 100 times, however it does depend on the charger and the device you are using. If you are using a high drain device you may have to charge them up more often, the batteries should typically replaced after about 3-4 years.

Thank you for this great charger I would be happy to assist you. The 1.2 volt rating for NiMH batteries is a nominal voltage for the battery while in use (discharge voltage). However, to fully charge an NiMH battery, the charger needs an output voltage near 1.6 volts per cell or greater. A charger that has an actual 1.4 volt per cell output would not fully charge a NiMH battery. I hope this helps.

I have over 20 2300 ah nmh energizer batteries. When I purchase a new set I always charge the new set ( I have the new and old charger ) on either-or charger, when the charger shuts down the batteries are charged. Remember nmh and ni-cd batteries only have 1.2 volts, regular alkaline batteries have 1.5 volts that have 600 ma, energizers have 2300 ma. They will last a lot longer, like the add say 4 times. The lost of .3 volts will not mean anything.

Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. Regarding this charger and our NIMH batteries, you will have to see what the MAH number is on the battery,(located at the top of battery right below AA example AA=2300mah). Then refer to the instruction manual to see how long that particular mah number will be to charge. Please feel free to contact our consumer affairs office with any additional questions.

Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. At this time the charging time would be determined on the type of charger you are using. The 2000 mah is based on 400 mA (0.2C rate) continuous discharge to 1.0 volts. I have provided the link below to access the data sheet on this battery.

Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. Regarding our NIMH batteries, they can be charged many times, however to provide a specific number would be rather hard. It actually has a lot to do with the type of device you are using, if you are using a high drain device you will find your self charging the batteries more often, there for reducing the longevity of their life span.

Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. Normally we would not recommend our NIMH batteries in solar lights; however, if your solar lights also take a NIMH battery, then our AA NIMH would be suitable for your lights. You will have to charge up the batteries before inserting them into your solar lights.

Hi,

I have an Energizer NiMH battery charger model CHCC-A. Using a battery voltage measuring device, it measured the batteries at 40%. After recharging the batteries for 8 hours, it remained at the same reading. I inserted the batteries into the battery charger again, and it indicated a green light. Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. All of our NIMH rechargeable batteries have a MAH ratting, you would want to see what that number is (located at the top of the battery below AA. example AA 2300mah) then check with your charger to see how long that MAH number would take to charge. So depending on the mah ratting, it could vary. If you do have additional questions please contact our consumer affairs at 1-800-383-7323

Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. The NH15 2300 mAh battery sold in the US and UK is the same. The “6X longer” claim is a comparison of this product to our standard alkaline battery in digital cameras. The responsibility for packaging and claims is the obligation of a regional Energizer marketing team. The timing for packaging design changes and claims made on it will be different for each region. Packaging for NH15 2300 mAh batteries sold in different regions can be different even though the batteries are identical. We apologize for any confusion this causes.
